Even though we are a small, seasonal business, Big Don's is committed to helping children, here in
Central NY and worldwide
with our sponsorship of an orphanage in Southern India. These are children that without this sponsorship, would live vastly
different lives. When you support Big Don's with your patronage, you
know that your dollars are helping make this support a reality. As our
business grows our commitment will grow as well. Big Don

Welcome to Big Don's Wild River
Mini Golf web-site. In 2009 Big Don's is headed in to our sixth season of operation. We have been blessed by our
Good Lord to be open and able to
serve our community with good, clean fun. We are really looking forward to the new season. What
started as a dream of a high quality putt putt course has grown into a unique and
full-scale family entertainment center, aimed at pleasing you, our CNY
neighbors. In 2006, we offered 6 fun and unique theme based activities and
in 2007, we made the number 7, with the launch of our
newest attraction, a completely original concept, The Beach Comber Coin
Hunt. In 2008 we are added Mischief Spinners to our golf course to add
a new element of fun.
We are a family owned and
operated business and the owner (me) and my family are on-site every day,
overseeing service and always looking for ways to improve the facility to
your satisfaction.
Our goal remains the same, to not only see that CNY has a high quality miniature golf course
(putt putt) as
is found in resort areas and larger locales, our
goal is to actually "One-Up" those areas with a unique
combination of outdoor activities. From the start we said to ourselves, "Why
can't Central NY have what other areas have?". With a maximum level of fun
for fellow Central New Yorkers in mind, we have enlisted the aid of internationally recognized miniature golf course developer, Castle Golf, to
fulfill our vision. At Big Don's Wild River Mini Golf, our goal is to create
for your recreation, a fun, high quality, Resort-level miniature golf course
right here in CNY and at the same time emphasize the quality outdoor
heritage that we are so blessed with. Good, clean fun is what we are all
about.
Unlike most other local
facilities (which are declining in quality and offerings or going out of
business....you can think of a few) we are determined every year to reinvest in the facility to make
it continuously better. Since 2004 we've grown into a
Family Entertainment Center featuring Resort Level Miniature Golf, an
Amaze'n Maze, Rock Wall, Gemstone Panning, Treasure Digs, Squirt Tube
Frenzy (new in 2006!) The Beach Comber Coin Hunt (new for 2007) and Mischief
Spinners in 2008! Notice a pattern here? Continuous improvement to our
facility and more options for your fun!
