May 8, 2008- Another Big Don's First! Mischief Spinners are now installed on our course. A new element of fun on holes #6, 8, 11, 13, 15 & 16. This new optional feature allows you to enter the skill and chance element of a board game to your mini-golf game. Or play the old fashioned fun way. It's your choice. Details on how to play available at the window.
April 18- We opened as planned on April 16 and are open through Sunday April 20. Our schedule for the rest of April will be spotty depending on the weather but if it beautiful out, we are usually open.
April 12, 2008- Target date for opening is Wed. April 16 at 11 AM. Wednesday on looks like a nice five day string of beautiful days.
April 7, 2008 We are planning to be open the week of April Break (4/12 to 4/21) on any days that are not raining and/or freezing. Sound good?

October 9, 2007 We are now closed for the 2007 Season. Thank you for supporting our business this past season. We will continue to improve and upgrade ever year so that you will continue to be pleasantly surprised by the quality of our facility.. See you in 2008!
September 28, 2007 We are beginning our Fall wind down based on the change in the seasons. We are now open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday (See Hours page for more details). Our rock wall is closed for the remainder of the season effective 09/28/07. We are planning on being open through Columbus Day weekend which for us is a five day weekend (Friday through Tuesday) because of the School schedules and of course weather permitting. The Monday and Tuesday of that weekend we will be open 11 am to 10 pm weather permitting.

We are now switching to our fall hours which are the same on weekends as in the summer but on weekdays we will now open at 3 pm. Yes, the vast majority of our business is kid driven meaning kids with parents, kids with grandparents, kids with kids and when you take kids our of the formula (i.e. school) there is just not enough couples and seniors to keep us open before 3 pm. We look forward to seeing you in the afternoon or evening and also on the weekends.

May 1, 2007 We are open every day. Check our hours page for more information. Hopefully things will stay dry and sunny to make up for last year. We all have a fun deficit thanks to 2006's rainy spring and summer. Our new Beach Comber activity will be available in the next couple of weeks. More information to follow.
April 18, 2007 Still some snow on the holes as of this morning. We will be open this Friday through Sunday, Lord willing! The weather is finally looking Spring Like.

Well we had hoped to be open for Spring Break but the weather really did not comply. It takes us a week or two of favorable weather (above 32 degrees at night) to open up the course and de-winterize. We can't just flip a switch and poof we're open. We have hundreds of feet of underground pipes that can freeze as well as lots of equipment to set up and course maintenance and upkeep so the place looks good for you. We do our best to be open for those first breaking days of spring but I am not sure if we have seen them yet. Now the weather is not looking so good for this weekend so we will have to see. We are pretty much done so if the weather breaks, expect us to be open! Thanks for your patience.

Spring 2007 is just around the corner. As soon as the snow clears out, we will begin our de-winterization and our Spring cleanup. We are shooting to be open by Spring break in April which takes place for most districts, beginning on April 7. Hope to see you then!
October 10, 2006 We are closed for the 2006 season! With the weather looking to again take a turn for the worse over the coming days after a beautiful Columbus Day weekend, we have decided to wrap it up for the 2006 season so that we can complete our close-up and winterizing chores.
It was good to get such a rainy summer behind us after a cold and rainy spring. People forget that the first ten days of June hardly broke out of the 50's. In 2005 we saw perhaps the most beautiful, hot weather that one can imagine, followed by 2006 where we saw the third rainiest since 1922. Much of the rain happened on weekends and additionally, the days where it did not rain, the fantastic weathermen said it was going to. So difficult to win under those circumstances. Despite all that, it was a fun year. Thanks to all of you, our guests, for coming out and enjoying the fun at Big Don's, CNY's resort level miniature golf course. Looking forward to next spring, additional improvements at our facility and perhaps another fun thing to do out here. God bless and look forward to seeing you all again next year!

Big Don Squirt Tube Frenzy is officially launched! Despite the cooler and wet weather lately, Big Don's has had its first groups and birthday parties through Squirt Tube Frenzy. All we can say is there was a whole lot of squirts and a whole lot of frenzy....and of course a whole lot of smiles. In fact, we had to practically pry the squirt tubes from the hands of some of the participants, that's how much fun they were having. Even when it was 60 degrees today! Wait till it's 80-90!

Squirt Tube Frenzy in our maze will be open on June 3 and through Labor Day.

This has been a kind of chilly and wet spring so far! Our ice cream operation is open. Also, Squirt Tube Frenzy, our new maze attraction is being installed between now and June 1. That will be a lot of fun on hot summer days!
