Big Don's Wild River offers a resort-level course in CNY - like you see in Myrtle Beach, SC, Florida or Ocean City, MD, built by Castle Golf - recognized for designing and building award winning courses around the US and world. Big Don's has ambience with six waterfalls, three ponds, cascading rivers, a beaver lodge, 200-300% more water than any typical course that you're used to. The soothing sound of our waterfalls and water features can be heard from over 100' away. We have an imaginative setting, wilderness Central New York circa 1750. The course has ambient Nature Sounds - our sound system plays nature sounds from the great outdoors to enhance your experience. We have carved and cast Wild Animals - sculptures so lifelike you have to take a second look. Each year we have added to the carvings around the facility. We now have two bears, a moose, cougar, wolf, red fox, two beavers and numerous other animals all originally native to Central NY. Yes, we have 18 holes... but Wild River's 18 holes are Big, spread out (30-50% more area than the other area courses) so you have more fun with your party while playing. Our holes are challenging and fun designed for a blast: Water shot holes, multi-level holes, numerous obstacles, hazards, roughs, elevations changes - this isn't your "standard" miniature golf course. We also have beautiful landscaping with over 600 plants and shrubs (not including flowers) to enhance your experience. Plus, Seven Other activities!
