Date: Thursday June 13, 7pm-11pm
Prize: Up to $300 Cash!
Our first laser tag Tournament of the 2013 Season is going to be great. It is set for Thursday June 13, 7pm to 11 pm.
In order to make it easier for you to get a team together we are going with Four Person teams this year instead of 6. After all everyone has 3 buds! Kids, adults, male, female or mixed teams can be entered. There are no "professionals" playing and anyone can win. Every team has the potential to beat other teams.
Up to $300 in cash prizes to the winning team depending on the number of team entries. At 8 teams entered the cash prize to the winning team will be $100 plus an hour of FREE playing time. If we get 10 teams the cash prize will be $200 (plus free playing time). 12 teams will generate a cash prize of $300 to the winning team (plus the free playing time bonus). Other prizes will be awarded to the other top finishing teams as well.
For the $25 entry fee per person, you get an evening of on and off the field laser tag play. In your down time you are welcome to play mini golf at no cost or watch the other players and revise your strategy. The battles will involve different mission based games. We will have playoffs and runner ups playing each other as well. We will pick from a number of possible gameplays which will be explained at the tournament before each round. One of the missions in the playoffs will involve your team using our new .50 caliber Browning (Laser Tag) Machine Gun in a defending and flanking the pillbox scenario.
To sign up your team, message me with your name and phone number via Facebook or email me at info@bigdons.com or call to make your reservation (name and phone number is needed)
CLOTHING:
Wear comfortable clothing and good footwear (sneakers or boots) as you will playing in a field that has uneven surfaces. Bare feet are never permitted and flip flops are discouraged.
RULES & WARNINGS:
We do not allow all out sprinting on our field to avoid your colliding with each other or obstacles. You can run if you keep two hands on your laser tagger.
Play at the Battleground involves physical exertion so if you have any conditions that prevent you from safely moving about and exerting yourself, please do not play.
If you are playing at night, bring mosquito repellant as you are playing outside in the summer. We do not always have bug repellant available.
WEATHER POLICY:
We can play on a day with showers in between the showers and suspend play if it begins to pour or thunder and lightning. If we suspend play due to rain and you have unused time, we will give you the equivalent of the lost time for future play. Example: You purchased a one hour ticket and it started to rain after 45 minutes. You can either wait under the cover of our gazebos to see if play restarts or we will give you a ticket for a new game (approximate play time of 15 minutes) for your next visit.
Our field is a field with uneven surfaces and could be wet or muddy if it just rained. Our obstacles are made of wood and so are hard and contain splinters. Your reckless behavior can also lead to your getting hurt. If the field marshal observes any such activity, he or she reserves the right to suspend your play with no refund of amounts paid.
